MADONNA MAY BREAK TOP TEN RECORD
Singing legend Madonna will trump Elvis Presley, The Beatles and even Michael Jackson this week, if her latest single lands in the top ten for the 37th time. Her collaboration with Justin Timberlake - 4 Minutes - is hotly tipped to reach the top ten, which will lift her above Elvis Presley, who made the top ten 36 times in his career. The Beatles stand third in the all-time list, with 34, ahead of Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson on 28. 2008 has been an eventful year for the Material Girl. As well as a new album and rumors of a world tour to promote it, the 49-year-old was inducted into the Rock’n'Roll hall of fame earlier this month in New York City.

PATRICK SWAYZE FLYS TROUBLES AWAY
Sick Hollywood star Patrick Swayze has taken to the skies and is flying around California to forget his cancer. The award winning actor went public with his pancreatic cancer diagnosis earlier this month, and is currently undergoing treatment. And he’s finding time to get away from his health crisis by taking off for long flights around California and Nevada with his wife Lisa Niemi, according to OK! magazine. As well as flying from their home to Stanford University Medical Center, where Swayze is being treated, the licensed pilot is also enjoying pleasure flights. A source tells the publication that the actor and his wife recently spent 11 hours in their 11-seat Beechcraft Super King Air 200, flying to various sites around California and Nevada. The source says, "Being able to do what they love most, and do it together, is helping them to remain as optimistic as possible."

DEMI MOORE HAS BLOODSUCKING LEECH
Hollywood star Demi Moore travelled to Austria to undergo a bloodsucking leech treatment in a bid to stay young and healthy. The 45-year-old actress admits she is constantly searching for "the cutting edge in health and healing" and subjected herself to the wacky therapy session during a recent stay at a European spa. She tells talk show host David Letterman, "A month ago I was in Austria doing a cleanse. And one treatment was leech therapy. These aren’t swamp leeches, they were highly trained medical leeches. High level bloodsuckers. "It detoxifies your blood. And they have a little enzyme that when they are biting down on you is released in your blood. "It crawls into your belly button and it bites down and then you relax and you watch it swell up and get fatter and fatter. And when it’s super drunk on your blood, it just rolls over like its drunk in a bar."You first feel worse and then you feel better. I’m feeling very detoxified."
