
With the sad news of
David Carradine's passing in Bangkok, let's take a look back at one of his first films. It was the last script
Bruce Lee worked on before his untimely death. It originally had Lee and his student
Steve McQueen as the stars. With Lee's death McQueen bailed, and so the project had to be recast. That lead to Carradine assuming Lee's role in the project. The movie was released in 1978 as
The Silent Flute, and remained a sentimental favourite in video rentals as
