I have 2 interviews for my fellow followers (haha that sounds funny) today.
The first is the very gorgeous Becca from Fashion Train.
Becca has the most wonderful blog mostly about fashion and I really enjoy reading it as it's one of my favourites. I asked Becca if she'd like to take part in my interview series and she very kindly accepted! So once again, thank you!
1. When did you start blogging and what made you create one?
I started blogging nearly two years ago now, and I started my blog because I was fashion obsessed! and none of my close friends liked fashion that much and were fed up with all my fashion talk! haha. But I made my blog because when my uncle moved to New Zealand, he wrote about his travels via a blog, and I thought why not write one about fashion? Then about 6 months later fashion blogging became huge!
2. What do you enjoy blogging about?
Fashion! The latest trends, what i'm wearing, fashion in society, what other people are wearing.
3. What sort of blogs do you enjoy reading?
Ones which are a variety, I'm not a fan of those fashion blogs which are constantly the same. I enjoy reading ones with competitions, wish lists and clothes relating to my everyday life!
4. Name some of your favourite blogs...
I used to read so many blogs but now I just check a few regularly. The lovely Vicky (http://magpie-girl.blogspot.com/) & Hannah from (http://loveindigoblog.blogspot.com/) are my favourites!
5. Apart from blogging, what do you enjoy doing? (hobbies, clubs, etc.)
I used to be a professional swimmer until I was 13, So i spent a lot of my time travelling up and down the country to swimming events! I used be a book worm too, I read a lot of books! I played the flute for a few years too and did flute grades. Now I like to go out with friends, shopping, going for the occasional run and writing my blog!
6. What are your favourite make-up brands?
I barely wear any make-up! Most of the time not even foundation! (most people don't know that!) But yes just for going out I'll wear models own and some 17 @ boots. I have models own blusher, 17 liquid eyeliner and mascara!
7. Any top beauty tips you'd like to share?
Just to look after your skin and drink lots of water and try to eat healthily and to never go to bed with your make-up on!
8. If you could only wear one piece of makeup for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Blusher! makes you look like you've made an effort when most of the time you haven't and takes seconds to apply!
9. Do you have a favourite shop?
Yes I do, well two shops. I love Topshop and ASOS! But i like to shop in H&M, New Look, River Island and online stores because I like a good variety!
10. Do you have a favourite piece of clothing/outfit, if so what?
Yes, that'd be shorts... especially ones from Topshop I just absolutely love. I've got about 25 pairs of shorts in total!
11. If you could go on a holiday anywhere you wanted, right now, where would you go?
I've just come back from a ten day holiday in france with my best friend, so I'd like to go back! But i'd love to go to Paris or New York that'd be amazing!
12. What do you think the most important thing in life is?
To be happy, well content. As long as you are content and have people around you that love you, your sorted :)
