Lil WayneHip Hopper Lil Wayne has been charged with drugs and weapons offences after his arrest in Arizona on Wednesday. The rapper faces charges of possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and misconduct involving weapons. The 25-year-old is scheduled to appear in a Wellton, Arizona court on February 12th for a preliminary hearing. He was detained by state police early on Wednesday morning when his tour bus was pulled over and searched by the U.S. border patrol. Lil’ Wayne was previously arrested on drugs charges in Atlanta, Georgia in 2006. He is also currently facing illegal gun possession charges and is due to appear in court in New York on February 25th.
