Poison frontman Michaels recently wrapped season two when he chose wannabe actress Ambre Lake as the winner and his new girlfriend. Despite the first season being exposed as a fraud, the winning contestant already had a boyfriend, Michaels and Lake insists this time it is for real, and they are handing the show over to another star. The guitarist, has been single since his April 2007 divorce from Hollywood actress Heather Locklear and a short-lived romance with Locklear's former pal Denise Richards ended last year. And TV bosses want to help him find love. A source tells OK! magazine, "He's perfect for TV. If you thought Bret (Michaels) was must see TV, you ain't seen anything yet. "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul was left red-faced after she made an embarrassing mistake on the television show.The singer was confused after the series' producers changed the judging format from the usual pattern of appraising each contest after they had sung to waiting until all five had finished performing.When asked to appraise first performer Jason Castro, Abdul gave her opinions on two performances, even though each singer had only sung once. She told contestant Jason Castro, "Oh gosh, we've never had to write these things down ... fast enough. Jason, first song, I loved hearing your lower register, which we never really hear, um ... ."The second song, I felt like your usual charm wasn't -- it was missing for me. Abdul later blamed "American Idol" producers for her mix up, telling "Entertainment Tonight" she has been "in the dark" over the change in format.Fellow judge Simon Cowell also admitted the switch had been difficult, saying, "This was officially the strangest show we've ever done but I like that. It's kind of a bit chaotic tonight."

The couple, who both attended Jay-Z’s recent wedding to Beyonce Knowles, call the tot Sensitive Thug, because of the way he terrorizes his elder sister Apple. Paltrow explains, "Apple is quite and imaginative. She will sit with her things and build houses and hotels for her dolls."Then my son will come in and thrash the hell out of anything she has been doing. If he can inflict pain, that’s even better.

Country singing star Carrie Underwood broke down in tears onstage in Atlanta, Ga., last week while performing a song inspired by her mother.The "American Idol" winner began crying during a rendition of "Don't Forget to Remember Me," on the latest leg of her tour supporting Keith Urban. Audience members tell People.com that Underwood struggled through the song, but couldn't overcome her tears. A representative for the star insists the song was written for her mother, and about her leaving home. Lyrics include, "Hey Momma ... tell Me-maw that I miss her/ Yeah, I should give her a call/ And make sure you tell Daddy that I'm still his little girl." Underwood later recovered and finished the concert tear-free.

GWYNETH PALTROW SPEAKS AGAIN

Gwyneth Paltrow is slamming reports that she snubbed a party held in her honor, insisting she never intended to attend the event. Paramount Pictures executives spared no expense in throwing an extravagant bash for the "Iron Man" star, intended as a thank-you for her hard work on the film's recent promotional tour. Studio bosses reportedly lavished $120,000 on the private celebration at London restaurant Cocoon on Thursday, inviting 30 of her closest family and friends and supplying Perrier Jouet champagne and vodka cocktails that she was said to have requested. Arrangements for a private entrance were also in place for the arrival of the actress and her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, in keeping with their pact never to be photographed together. But at the last minute, Paltrow, 35, disappointed guests, including her in-laws Anthony and Alison Martin, when she and her husband instead went for an impromptu meal with her "Iron Man" co-star Robert Downey Jr.However, the actress is adamant she had not promised to be at the affair.On Saturday, Paltrow's spokesperson said, "Gwyneth was never meant to attend the after party. She was at a taping of the Jonathan Ross show (a British talk show) that ran late and then she went home to be with her children. BREAKUP RUMORS FOR AMY WINEHOUSE

Rehab singer Amy Winehouse's hubby Blake Fielder Civil is sparking more rumors that his marriage to the singer is in trouble, after he was seen blowing kisses to another woman at his latest court appearance. Fielder-Civil appeared at London’s Snaresbrook Crown Court today for the latest hearing in his ongoing legal case. He is currently being held on remand at London’s Pentonville Prison on charges of perverting the course of justice, relating to a previous charge of grievous bodily harm, and Judge David Radford ruled he will remain there until at least June 9th. Fielder-Civil is normally supported in court by his wild wife, but Winehouse was unable to today's hearing as she was reportedly due to attend a North London police station to be quizzed on allegations of assault. Instead, Fielder-Civil was supported by his father and 21-year-old Sophie Schandorff, who was seen blowing kisses to him from across the courtroom.
Winehouse’s spouse was seen responding by mouthing "I love you" back to the blonde.
But Schandorff, who insists she is simple his "best friend", tells People.com she has known Fielder-Civil for two years and plans on visiting him in prison.She says, "Hopefully tomorrow (I will visit him). But he has to call me." Fielder-Civil’s trial is due to begin on June 2nd.

MICHAEL JACKSON PUTS LIFE ON HOLD

Troubled singer Michael Jackson is putting his life on hold as he prepares to make a triumphant return. The Thriller star has allegedly banned his three children, Prince Michael, Prince Michael II and Paris, from his Las Vegas studio, where he is busy recording tracks for his new album. Jackson has also reportedly put his rumored romance with his children’s nanny, Grace Rwaramba, on hiatus, in order to fully focus on the LP - which has been in production since March 2006.A source tells the New York Post’s gossip's PageSix, "Michael is producing the album himself and has banned his kids from the recording studio. He realizes this is very important and doesn’t want any distractions."He’s not going to be involved in any personal relationships with women until he gets this record done. He’s dumped the nanny - she’s not around any more."

COURTENEY COX LAUGHS OFF RUMORS

Television star Courteney Cox is laughing off reports that are claiming she is no longer able to conceive, insisting the rumor she is going through the menopause is "a lie".The former Friends star, 43, gave birth to daughter Coco in 2004, after years of trying to get pregnant with husband David Arquette.But she insists a recent magazine article alleging she has become infertile are false, and she refuses to let the rumors bother her. She says, "I just saw a magazine photo of me coming out of my doctor’s office and it says I’m going through the menopause, so I’m really upset because I can’t have another child. It’s a lie. "But it’s not worth getting upset about. If I’m looking OK in the photo, I don’t really care."

LINDA MCCARTNEY TO HAVE ART SHOW

Beatle Paul McCartney is happy his late wife Linda's vintage photographs are finally going on display in the U.K. - because the exhibition will help to keep her memory alive. A London show of her photos is set at the James Hyman Gallery on Friday, in what will be the first major display of her work. The art show will also mark the 10th anniversary of her death. She lost her battle with cancer in April 1998. The singer is delighted to be able to honor his "great" wife’s memory by putting the collection of works on display. He says, "Since she passed away, the thing is that you worry that she’s not around, so her stuff is not going to be exhibited."We work as a family to ensure that her work is still exhibited, so it means that people are exposed who haven’t seen it before. It’s great for me just to remind people how great she was."

PATRICK DEMPSEY POSTPONES MOVE

Patrick Dempsey is postponing a planned move to Britain until the American economy improves.Dempsey fell in love with the United Kingdom after a holiday there last summer and is planning on moving his family to a house in the English countryside. But the actor, who has three children with his wife Jillian Fink is insisting he may just have to settle for a holiday property in the country and wait until the currently weak dollar increases in value before making the move permanent. He says, "I would love to live here (Britain). But I think I will have to wait for the American dollar to get stronger."A holiday place would be perfect, but to bring my kids up here would be ideal."

Pop singer Robbie Williams is taking off from his pop career, to focus his time on investigating the existence of aliens. The singing star has teamed up with journalist Jon Ronson to record a radio documentary about extraterrestrials, in which the pair attend a UFO conference in Laughlin, Nevada to hear stories about alien abductions. On the show, entitled Robbie Williams And Jon Ronson Journey To The Other Side - Williams talks to a scientist who claims to specialize in examining evidence of flying saucer visits, asking: "Do you worry that the aliens might want their stuff back? Do you get scared they may want to come and get their transmitters back?" Williams, who has admitted his fixation causes him to frequently question his own sanity, now spends his time holed up in his Los Angeles California home reading alien conspiracy theories online, and watching DVDs with titles such as UFO Space Anomalies and Secret Space: What Is NASA Hiding? He says, "I’ve been working since I was 16. I’ve put out 10 albums in 10 years and it takes its toll. I’m just having a break. I’m classic ‘don’t show me any debunking stuff’ - because I want to believe." The 34-year-old, who is signed to label EMI in a deal worth $160 million, was due to release an album later this year, but this has now been postponed.

The actor will strip nude in the controversial play Equus, which debuts in New York this autumn. In order to prevent pictures being taken of Radcliffe naked, theatre officials are planning to employ infrared devices within the theatre - to spot cunning camera phone users.A spokesperson for the Shubert Organization tells the New York Post that high security will also be in place following the performance, so Radcliffe can escape the crowds of Harry Potter fans expected to camp outside the stage door for a glimpse of their hero.
