Angelina Jolie ain't the only hi profile celeb type celebrating a birthday today. Controversial beauty pageant contestant Carrie Prejean has just had a baby girl, presumably from an opposite sex Republican ordained Tea Party approved union! If you'll recall Carrie got herself into tons of trouble, and nearly got a news show on FOX, by saying that gays didn't have the right to live or something. maybe she just said they shouldn't show their faces in public unless they have some really really half decent plastic surgery and a set of big plastic boobs. When beauty queens speak it can be hard to make sense of them!



Now if only Carrie had said something more like suck as that then she could've avoided some real trouble. Incomprehensible gibberish is how George W Bush got through 8 years of mayhem!

Sarah Palin Hits Philly

For those wondering whether or not Sarah Palin is poised to pounch at the White House in 2021, well she is out and about. Whether or not she is on an 'organized tour' or not, her unofficial presidential tour has reached Philly, and Sarah is out and about hobnobbing with the locals. Sarah is featuring her dressed down casual style, to emphasize that she's a one of the people hockey mom, whether or not she's still a pit bull in lipstick (I think she was upgraded to maverick before she went rogue or something).


Palin is traveling in a private tour bus, and has pulled such stunts as driving a Harley through the streets, so this is a definite presidential run up; unless she's pitching a new book or reality TV series. We can only hope that Ricky talks Lucy out of this hare brained scheme before it goes too far!

Blogger Interview x6 - Lauren from 'With Love, Freckles'

The 6th lovely lady to be be put in the spot light is the very gorgeous Lauren from 'With Love, Freckles'! I love reading Lauren's posts because her blog is so versatile! She blogs about everything and anything! Whenever Lauren posts, I rush to read it, and she never fails to put a smile on my face! :)

1.  When did you start blogging and what made you create one?

I'm coming up to my 1st birthday of blogging! I created a blog because I saw that my close friend had one, and thought it was a different and interesting way to spend my time, rather than sitting on facebook for hours, as it were. I've kept a diary since I was around 8 years old, and I thought this could act as my online diary sort-of-thing, however it seems to have taken my initial habit of even writing a diary. Of course I don't put my personal thoughts on here, but this is a fun way of writing what’s on my mind etc.

2. What do you enjoy blogging about?

I enjoy blogging because... I can blog about anything I want! I'm the versatile sort of blogger, I'm not into anything too in particular, just what's going on in life at the time of day. With Love, Freckles is my personal little outlet of thoughts, photos and inspiration that I have taken.

3. What sort of blogs do you enjoy reading? 

Again, I read any type of blog I want! I don't tend to be too particular when reading also. A blog can make me follow due to a certain post, a certain something that was said or even a certain picture I enjoyed looking at. I'm not sure what it is, but when something about a blog has me hooked, it does indeed, have me hooked.

4. Name some of your favourite blogs...

5. Apart from blogging, what do you enjoy doing? (hobbies, clubs, etc.)

My most recent 'hobby' so to speak, is exercise. Surprisingly enough! I've never enjoyed exercise, never, and with my mum being a fitness instructor I should have really. However, recently I've found the certain forms of exercise I particularly enjoy e.g. ZUMBA and now I don't even mind the odd run on the treadmill in the gym :-) Once you're fit, it appears exercise becomes more easier and enjoyable. Plus, I'm a bridesmaid for my sister's wedding in Italy in summer, I NEED to be in good shape!

6. What are your favourite make-up brands?

My favourite make up brand overall would have to be Benefit. They seem to just have that edge over all other retail, highstreet make up brands. However, all my day to day make up is mainly Rimmel. A very affordable make, with good results too!

7. Any top beauty tips you'd like to share?

My latest post on radiance boosting will tell you more, but Vitamin E cream is a definite must have for glowing skin! Also, if you're prone to dry skin around your eye area, put some vaseline on overnight, the dryness will be gone in the morning.. Promise!

8. If you could only wear one piece of makeup for the rest of your life, what would it be?

BRONZER BRONZER BRONZER. Je deteste being pale.

9. Do you have a favourite shop?

I don't tend to have a favourite shop, as I don't shop for the label. It will be certain items that catch my eye, not the shop itself.

10. Do you have a favourite piece of clothing/outfit, if so what?

I like my collection of little dresses that I wear on summer days. My favourite would have to be my Hollister pink and white striped one, that makes me look like an old fashioned ice cream server girl.

11. If you could go on a holiday anywhere you wanted, right now, where would you go?

Anywhere with sun!! It's been over a year since I've had foreign sun on my freckly skin, but if I had to choose.. I'd go back to Hawaii! On that little cove beach, where I snorkelled with the giant turtles with my little brother.

12. What do you think the most important thing in life is?

Peace, love & happiness. Once you've found all three, you're laughing!

Snooki in Custody

One of America's most dangerous celebrities - Snooki from Jersey Shore, is in police custody. Now this is long over due but stems from a recent incident. Snooki was carrening around in Florence Italy when she pulled a major boner even by her own standards. She crashed into a police car! Snooki managed to plow into the parked copmobile and then wedge her own car between the damaged squad cart and a highway protection barer. Jwwoww was along for the ride and no alcohol was involved,only the usual stupidity. These chick gotta stop watching Dukes of Hazard reruns! For more on the moron story, head over to TMZ. Sean Kingston Badly Injured In Jet Ski Accident

Hip-hop star Sean Kingston is in critical condition in a Miami Beach hospital after being injured in a bad jet skiing accident Sunday evening ... TMZ has confirmed.

According to Local10.com, the "Beautiful Girls" singer had a female passenger on board his watercraft when it crashed into a bridge around 6 PM local time.

We're told both Kingston and his passenger were rescued from the water by a good Samaritan.

The Miami Fire Dept. responded to the scene and both Kingston and his female passenger were transported to nearby Jackson Memorial Hospital. We're told Kingston's injuries are so severe, he is being treated in the trauma ward.

We're told ... at this moment, officials do not believe alcohol played a role in the crash.

Kingston's rep tells TMZ .... "Sean Kingston was in an accident today. No further details are available at the moment. He and his family thank everyone for the well-wishes."

Officials are investigating the cause of the crash.

Avril Lavigne plays baseball!

Avril Lavigne was all smiles when she threw out the first pitch before last night's Tampa Bay Rays game, but she lobbed a few four-letter words at the crowd when a technical glitch messed with her post-game concert. 

According to local reports, Avril's mic didn't work at the start of her show ... and she responded to the cavalcade of boos by yelling obscenities at crowd.

Rays rep Rick Vaughn tells TMZ, "The Rays demand profanity-free performances from all of our concert performers and we are extremely disappointed by the language used in last night's show. It is not consistent with the family-friendly atmosphere that Tropicana Field is known for."

Calls to Lavigne's rep were not returned.

UPDATE -- Several of our readers were in attendance last night and point out via our message board ... that while Avril did drop a few F-bombs, they weren't directed at anyone in particular. Her real fans, it seems, enjoyed the show just fine.

Justin Bieber Reveals NEW Hebrew Tattoo on Ribcage

Perhaps having adjusted to the idea of Justin Bieber dating Selena Gomez, Bieber obsessives have found something new to fixate on while Bieber vacations in Hawaii with Gomez.

Some paparazzi shots of a shirtless Bieber have revealed that the 17-year-old pop star is sporting what appear to be two tattoos: one on his waist -- a tiny bird's head -- and one on his ribcage -- the word "Yeshua," or Jesus, written in Hebrew, according to The Daily.

While we don't know the intentions behind Bieber's tattoo, he did visit Israel in April, where he ranted on Twitter about how the paparazzi wouldn't give him the time or space to properly engage with the holy sites.

He has also led a backstage Hebrew prayer before a concert recently, as seen in this video.

Though Bieber is not yet 18, in several U.S. states minors can receive tattoos as long as they have parental consent. Let's hope, though, that Bieber pal Willow Smith doesn't get any ideas.

Everyday Minerals 'Cheek' Review

I also received two other products from Everyday Minerals to review.

They were both blushers in the colours 'Rhapsody In Peach' and 'DVR Saturday'.

Rhapsody In Peach

This colour is a coral-y peachy colour. I was very excited about receiving this as I am really liking corals at moment, but unfortunately its not as it appears in the pot. This actually comes out very faintly and you can only see a small amount of colour behind all the shimmer. Perhaps you could build up colour by creating layers, but I had expected more! On the good side, it is very soft and blends well for easy application and gives you a 'just been on holiday' looking glow!

DVR Saturday

This colour is a sort of berry pink colour. It is very shimmery but is still quite pigmented so you only need to apply a very small amount or it could look a bit silly and over the top! Like I said above, it also blends well so is easy for application!

(The picture is edited but it helps show the true colour as my camera didn't catch it very well!)

Overall, I did like both blushers for different reasons, and although they did have their faults in someways, I hope to try out some more colours soon!

Accessorize began starting selling charms for bracelets a little while ago (as far as I know anyway!) and until now I've not really taken much notice of them. 

However, yesterday whilst in town with my lovely boyfriend, I spotted a few very lovely ones that would look so pretty on a little charm bracelet.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan shocked Miami residents when she emerged on South Beach this weekend. The twenty four year old blond was photographed at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida on Saturday, May 21st, 2011.

Lohan is in town to shoot the cover of Plum Miami magazine’s July 2011 issue hitting newsstands June 15th TWO days before she turns herself in to authorities and begin serving her 120 day jail sentence. The “concept cover” was developed by Plum Network CEO, Jerry Powers, who will also be interviewing the starlet for the in-book exclusive. This is Lindsay’s first cover-shoot in the U.S. since she completed her latest rehabilitation treatments.

She wore a variety of different outfits and since we’ve had some crazy good weather as of late, it seems like a slight breeze caused Lindsay to have a bit of a wardrobe malfunction!!

In Honor of Facebook, Couple Names Baby ‘Like’

Facebook has been the source of inspiration for some pretty wild baby names in recent years, including the name “Facebook” by an Egyptian man who wanted to honor the social network’s role in Egypt’s revolution. But now we’re hearing that it’s a feature inside of Facebook that has influenced a web-savvy Israeli couple.

Parents Lior and Vargit Adler have reportedly named their newborn daughter “Like” after seeking a particularly unique name.

“To me it is important to give my children names that are not used anywhere else, at least not in Israel,” said the father in an interview with the German Press Agency dpa on Monday. The couple also gave unique names to their first two children, Dvash (honey in Hebrew) and Pie.

“If once people gave Biblical names and that was the icon, then today [Facebook's like] is one of the most famous icons in the world,” the father said. He explained “Like” had a “nice, international ring to it,” and Facebook had become the icon of today’s generation.

So what happens when Like grows up and has her own Facebook page? Not sure, but at least she wasn’t named “Poke.”

Justin Bieber Launches Fragrance for Girls

Following the success roll-outs of a unisex fragrance and nail polish line, teen heart throb Justin Bieber is now launching his first ever women’s perfume.

The fruity and floral “Someday” will reportedly appeal to his 14-18 year old core fan base says Women’s Wear Daily, who he spoke to about the new endeavor.

Let’s be real, the way a girl smells is very important to a guy,” said Justin. “I have such a deep connection with my fans, so creating a fragrance that I personally love is another way I can bring them closer to my world.”

Justin will join “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Monday to talk in-depth about his inspiration behind creating the fragrance and what he’s been up to over the past three months while on tour around the world.

“Someday” will be available on June 20 and will be sold at Macy’s, Sephora, Nordstrom’s, Dillard’s and other department stores.
