The actor reveals he fought against fatherhood and desperately tried to hang onto his life as a young hellraiser after one-time girlfriend Kim Bordenave gave birth to his son four and a half years ago. Farrell eventually gave up the fight, and now enjoys a close relationship with the boy. He says, "Fatherhood doesn’t change your life unless you want it to. I fought it for two-and a-half years trying to cling onto my youth, until I decided to let fatherhood change my life." And he has given up hellraising too: "I’m quiet now. Boring. I do incredibly tedious things like hanging out with my son."
