Drug wildman Pete Doherty has failed to honor his promise to buy a guitar from a music store where he played an impromptu gig earlier this month.The Babyshambles singer treated shoppers to a performance in a Reading, England music store, but his music-making was cut short after he accidentally broke a string on his guitar. And despite the mishap, it seemed Doherty was impressed with the goods on offer at the Music Man shop - even asking owner Peter Sirrell to leave aside a $300 guitar which he would return to pay for. But the singer has failed to honor his potential purchase, and hasn’t been seen in the store since the mini-gig.
