Toxic singer Britney Spears friend Las Vegas hotel owner George Maloof Jr. has dismissed reports he is in talks with the singer to make her pop comeback with a live spectacular show at his Sin City resort. Rumors of a Las Vegas concert surfaced online last month after the Palms Hotel and Casino boss was spotted meeting with Spears in Los Angeles California. Spears' former manager Larry Rudolph recently refuted the claims, but Internet gossips have since sparked new speculation after the pop star flew into Vegas last week. But Maloof Jr. insists plans for a Vegas concert "didn't come up" during their previous discussions, although he admits it is a good idea. He adds, "I'd love to have her here at the Pearl (Theater, at the Palms resort). It would be great."A source tells People.com that Spears' current trip to the Nevada city is entirely family-orientated.The insider says, "Britney left L.A. for Vegas for an extended Father's Day weekend with her dad (Jamie)."
