At least one of these women is an impostor!
Looks like some unintentional image parody for poor Angelina Jolie. The woman dubbed "Octomom" by the tabs seems to be basing her self on the movie star. In fact she is even rumoured to have had plastic surgery to look more like Jolie.Girl Interrupted
Now Octomom, otherwise known as Nadya Suleman, isn't gainfully employed at the moment (apparently she does have a website begging for donations, and a PR rep, Michael Furtney - only in America!). So where's the mula for plastic surgery and serial invitro coming from?? Well apparently she was awarded a cash settlement after an incident at her former place of employment. It was a state nuthouse and the patients rioted. Suleman allegedly got 165 000. Now for most people that would set them up in life: start a business or go to school. In Suleman's case she used it to have 14 kids and bad plastic surgery. Suleman does claim that she's gonna return to school sometime in the near future to complete her Master's degree - but she still has a 50 000 outstanding student loan debt.
Another thing in common - image is their career!
The thing is that this is starting to pay off! She's made the cover of Life&Style along side her inspiration. Now I know they didn't get to use Angelina's image for free. Since her film career went down the toilet it's one of the few things left she has to market on - that and her bionic womb! So we can only assume that Octomom got a healthy payment too, befitting her status as the Angelina Jolie Economy Version. As a matter of fact now that Octomom has made the mag covers along side her idol you can't help noticing the strange parallels: the similar appearance, 'serial' motherhood, fame outside any actual 'career', and image as livelihood. If imitation is the sincerest form of parody, then can Jolie's image survive this?? With Oscar around the corner it couldn't have happened at a worse time!
