Run ragged
The novelty might be wearing off Ron Wood's May Dec romance - the difference in respective energy levels might be taking it's tole. Not that Ronnie is ready for the rocking chair; quite the reverse. It seems that the old geezer is jet propelled, and little Ekaterina Ivanova just can't keep up! Katz claims that she originally got involved with Ronnie cause it seemed like fun. However she was not prepared for the energetic old bugger, and his alcohol fueled jet set ways!
he's always on the go - I expected much more time on my back!
For instance there's Ronnie's round of AA meetings. Now there's a AA meeting going on some where around the clock, and Ron likes to clock as many of them as he can. A 12 stepper can easily log in 3 a day - more if they're serious. By the time they've finished running from one meeting to the next, and gone home for the day, the dog needs to be walked. Guess who gets to do that. When that chore is done - hope she remembered to poop and scoop - then the phone rings and it's one of Ronnie's boring old friends who wants to talk about Woodstock and the olden days. In fact the 18 year old complains that "I'm always exhausted and there's really something very tiring about it". I'm sure she's not the only one who finds AA meetings tiring, or at least tiresome. Perhaps she just expected a lot more lying down on the job.
Then there's the Rolling Stone fan backlash. Poor Katz can't stick her head out very far without irate supporters giving her a hard time and making nasty threats. Though she once intended to bag the old trout and marry him, Katz now complains that 'I just wanted to have fun. It has really affected me. It has scarred me. I'm scared to do anything. Everyone talks about me as if I don't have feelings. I'm sick of feeling like a victim.'
I guess that a rolling stone really gathers no moss!
Poor Katz sounds as if she becoming disillusioned. She expected the glamour of sex, drugs, and rock & roll. Instead she wound up with an energetic boring old fart. So you can't blame the gal for having second thoughts - that age difference was bound to catch up with them eventually. Young people - they just don't make 'em like they used to!
