Dr Phil & his little friend
Looks like trouble is brewing for sleazy talk show shrink Dr Phil McGraw. Word has it that his hard pressed wife Robin is planning on writing a book. Now what could have possessed her to spill the beans in public? Well she's fed up with Dr Phil's cheatin' ways. Also the publishers have offered her a 3 mill advance!
The low down on Mr Low Down
The National Enquirer claims that the book will give you the low down on the low down Dr Phil. For instance it will tell you why Phil hates the woman who made him what he is today - Oprah Winfrey. According to Robin Phil can't even stand to talk to her on the phone, and slams down the receiver in disgust once the call is over. Part of the reason is Oprah's constant critiquing of Phil's show. According to Robin there's more - Phil just can't bear for a woman to have power over him.
Trust me, I'm a doctor, sort of
Robin also plans to reveal their bizarre open marriage arrangement. According to Robin at about 6 months into the marriage she and Big Phil had the divorce talk. They decided that what ever happened they wouldn't split up. Shortly there after Phil took up with a 19 year old woman he was treating. He even hired the girl to work for him. That backfired in more ways than one, when the girl accused Phil of being sexually abusive, and hauled him up before the Texas Psych Association's Board of Ethics. Now Phil stands as much chance in front of a board of ethics as a snow ball does in hell. His license is still suspended.
good cop, bad shrink
The NE claims that Big Phil is worried sick about the book. He desperately wants to talk Robin out of releasing it. Since his name is already mud he doesn't need anymore bad press. Other's suspect that this might be yet another cheap publicity stunt on the part of the McGraws. Robin does blog about the inner working of their marriage on Phil's official web site. Plus the proceeds of the book would go into their already +400 mill joint fortune. If Phil knows anything, it's sleazy stunts!
