The 3rd blogger to be put in the interviewing hot seat is Sophie from her blog 'Beauty Comes From Within'. I really enjoy reading Sophie's posts, and was delighted to her that she wanted to take part! :)
1. When did you start blogging and what made you create one?
I started blogging back in March last year, which seems like ages ago now! I created BeautyCFW because I wanted to communicate with other bloggers and learn more about makeup, hair and skincare. I wanted a place I could talk about beauty with people who shared the same interests as me.
I enjoy writing product reviews, NOTDs, sunday summaries, FOTDs, collections & storage, and swatches. I also like the odd tag post here and there :)
I'm not too into fashion as I don't think I'm very fashionable so I tend to stick to blogs similar to mine. I usually follow blogs with large images, products reviews on products I might buy, and a fun but informative way of writing.
I love Vivianna's blog, Christina's blog, Fee's blog, and Sophia's blog. Those are the blogs I'll casually make my way through when I am at home on the weekend, with a cup of tea and some biscuits!
We always have this issue at school as I'm always asked and can't come up with much. My main interests are blogging (pretty much my life!), reading, re-arranging my make-up, internet shopping, textiles, and being with my pets.
I have a lot! I like Benefit, MAC, Barry M, Sleek, Rimmel, Clinique, No7 and Revlon. I think MAC and Sleek would be my favourite picks though!
I'd say take your makeup off every night religiously, and use a good quality exfoliator. I use the Benefit face scrub, it's made with honey and smells gorgeous! I would also say don't try the foundation/concealer lips.. it's not a good look ;)
It would have to be foundation, or maybe concealer. Maybe a tinted moisturiser. I'm a lover of a great base, as if you don't have a great base all the rest of your makeup isn't going to look at it's best.
I love Boots, just because it's a makeup haven! For clothing I really like Topshop and Primark.. from one extreme to the other :P
Hard question! Ooh, I really like my Gilly Hicks floral skirt, I pair it with a navy top and a grey cardigan usually. It's also really nice with some peep toe heels and a long sleeved v-neck top.
The Seychelles definitely! Catherine and William went there once, and I've always known about it. Even in primary school I'd say I wanted to go there but I never have. It's a goal to go there sometime in my life :)
Self confidence. I have my flaws, but I like to think I'm happy in my own skin. Obviously I'd change a few things.. a lot of things. But I think it's really important to be happy with who you are and not take any notice of people who point out your negatives.
