It's been a while since I last did a blogger interview, and after finding Sam's interview reply in my busy inbox from a while ago, I felt like it was time to post it up!
This interview features the very lovely Sam, from her just as lovely blog 'Sunshine Sam'.
Sam's blog was one of the first blogs I followed and everyday I look forward to reading her posts, they always 'keep me smiling' (I'm sure you'll understand if your a regular 'Sunshine Sam' reader!)
Anyway, on to the interview...
1. When did you start blogging and what made you create one?
I started blogging in February 2010. I originally stumbled across filthygorgeousmakeup make up tutorials on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/filthygorgeousmakeup) which then lead me to her blog and the whole blogging community. From there I started following some really amazing beauty/fashion blogs and decided to start my own.
2. What do you enjoy blogging about?
I love blogging about everyday real life events, fashion, beauty, my wonderful husband basically anything and everything.
3. What sort of blogs do you enjoy reading?
I really enjoy reading any typically girly blogs I would say I read fashion blogs the most though as I find them so inspiring. I love it when you find someone that has there own unique style and a blog that is a little bit quirky. I just love reading blogs about real people because let's face it we all love to be nosey :-)
4. Name some of your favourite blogs...
Oh god I follow a ridiculous amount of blogs and love so many. Some that stand out for me are The Day Book, Sophia's Journal, Lily loves Lola, Lollipop Loves, LLYMLRS, From Gem With Love, Mariannan just to name a few, I really could go on forever
5. Apart from blogging, what do you enjoy doing?
I love love love to take photos/spending long days on the beach in the summer/walks in the countryside with my husband and dog/catching up with friends over coffee/baking and eating cupcakes!
6. What are your favourite makeup brands?
Typical blogger response but one word MAC! So predictable!
7. Any top beauty tips you'd like to share?
E:45 cream is amazing for spots. I dab it on before bed and just let it sit on my skin without actually rubbing it in! Works a treat
8. If you could only wear one piece of makeup for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This is easy for me! It would be mascara! I always say I have no eyes without it!
9. Do you have a favourite shop?
If I had to pick one it would be Topshop but I also really love Urban Outfitters, Primark, H&M and All Saints
10. Do you have a favourite piece of clothing/outfit, if so what?
I love knitwear and scarves, the chunkier the scarf the better
11. If you could go on a holiday anywhere you wanted, right now, where would you go?
Australia. It's the one place I definitely want to visit before I die
12. What do you think the most important thing in life is?
Happiness, Health, Love, Peace and just living life to the full
