Yesterday, I thought I'd do a little make-up experiment to compare the quality of Natural Collection lipsticks to MAC lipsticks!
Prices:
Natural Collection - £1.99
MAC - £11.50
I took two quite similarly coloured lipsticks and swatched them on my hand, one directly above the other! To make it a fair test, I made sure I put the same amount of each lipstick on!
Top: Natural Collection's 'Pink Mallow'
Bottom: MAC's 'Lovelorn'
I left the swatches on and continued my day doing normal day to day things!
At the end of the day, I checked the swatches to see which appeared to be more long lasting...
To my surprise, Natural Collection came out on top!
The MAC colour had faded a lot more than my very lovely (and cheap!) Natural Collection lipstick!
So there it is... You can get a perfectly good lipstick, at such a reasonable price!
As much as I love MAC, this proves that brand isn't everything!
