No 16 years is quite and age difference. Bad enough if you're Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones, but this girl's barely got the braces off her teeth. Though some might well wonder whether their first date was Walker driving by in a grubby van and asking her if she liked candy (they started dating when she was 16 and he was twice her age!) - he's still no Ron Wood.

Well it appears that Mr Walker's intentions were strictly honourably, if a bit disturbing. Ms Pilchard-Gosnell has been out to the ranch to meet Walker's daughter (a girl with whom she probably shares much in common). She's the product of a former relationship with another woman whom we presume was also above the age of consent. More than that the Star was reporting that Walker has popped the question. However Walker's official spokesperson are claiming through X17 that no such engagement has taken place.

As a matter of fact the engagement is being pretty adamantly denied. His reps have been on the phone to JustJared too. So I wonder what could've queered the deal? It was sweet that he waited till she legal - just like Elvis! - but in dogpatch years she's practically middle aged! Could she not find a Crackjack prize suitable as an engagement ring? Would the honeymoon have conflicted with her curfew?? Is that rat two timing her with Miley Cyrus??? Men! Perhaps it's just a matter of them not wanting to get swept away in the moment, and deciding to wait a little while: till their heads are cooler, they're both a little older, and her complexion has cleared up.
