This interview has been sitting in my inbox for a while, I thought I had posted it but I must have forgotten, sorry about the wait!
The next lovely girl to take part in my interview series was Lauren from her gorgeous blog 'LoveLaughLauren'. Lauren blogs all about beauty, makeup and fashion and her posts are great and interesting to read! I enjoyed reading Lauren's responses to my questions and I hope you do to...
1. When did you start blogging and what made you create one?
It was about a year ago, and it was because I started following Zoe at http://schoee.blogspot.com/. She's absolutely beautiful and it really inspired me to create my own little space on the internet.
2. What do you enjoy blogging about?
MAKEUP! In all forms :)
3. What sort of blogs do you enjoy
Mostly beauty blogs, but I have a few fashion blogs on my dashboard too.
4. Name some of your favourite blogs...
I always get excited when I see new posts from Vivianna (http://viviannadoesmakeup.blogspot.com/) Tiffany (http://willworkformakeup.blogspot.com/) and Jennie (http://www.sailorjennie.com/). I do have hundreds more that I love and follow.
5. Apart from blogging, what do you enjoy doing? (hobbies, clubs, etc.)
I love all the 'girly' things in life... shopping, glamming up on a saturday night to go out, spending time with my boyfriend etc. I am a very keen skiier too :)
6. What are your favourite make-up brands?
eeeek I like so many brands. Ummmm I love Barry M (although I definately need to try more of their products) and Urban Decay for their eyeshadows. No other brand can beat 'em!
7. Any top beauty tips you'd like to share?
Drugstore products can be just as good as expensive ones. I adore MAC but I just can't afford it, but there are hundreds of high street products that are fantastic dupes.
8. If you could any wear one piece of makeup for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Lipstick!
9. Do you have a favourite shop?
I adore New Look. It's affordable and often has very similar pieces to more expensive shops.
10. Do you have a favourite piece of clothing/outfit, if so what?
Hmmm well I recently bought a pair of camel coloured jeans and they just work with everything. One of the best items of clothing i've ever bought!
11. If you could go on a holiday anywhere you wanted, right now, where would you go?
New York!
12. What do you think the most important thing in life is?
Appreciate the people around you who matter. You don't know what you've got 'till it's gone.
